Godfrey Dadich Adds T. Jason Brown as Partner, President, New York

Godfrey Dadich Partners, the storytelling, design, and strategy firm that’s pioneering The New Editorial, has announced the appointment of T. Jason Brown as Partner, President, New York, a newly created role. He joins founders and co-CEOs Scott Dadich and Patrick Godfrey, along with 10 current partners, to lead the firm. GDP achieved record revenue and significant staff growth in 2021, with Brown joining the firm as the 78th full-time employee.

In his role, Brown will be responsible for directing and managing East Coast business operations and outcomes for GDP and its client partners. As both a creative and strategic practitioner, he will work across the entire organization to tell authentic stories that move people to action. GDP works with clients such as Microsoft, C3 AI, Nike, and National Geographic.

“We have begun to meaningfully scale Godfrey Dadich operations in New York, both in terms of our physical footprint and our recruitment and staffing,” Godfrey said. “We charted a record year in 2021, and we know Jason will be integral to realizing years of cultural and business growth to come.”

With more than 25 years’ experience in brand strategy, brand identity, and innovation consulting, Brown has overseen the creation and evolution of global brands in financial services, consumer goods, transportation services, insurance, real estate development, and technology. After lengthy tenures at global branding firm Interbrand and innovation consulting firm Fahrenheit 212, Brown co-founded Dan+Jason+Co, a brand and marketing studio. His in-market presence includes work for Coca-Cola, Google, Virgin, Uber, IKEA, Chopra, UPS, NYSE, Match Group, and Vista Equity Partners.

“Across his career, Jason has believed in grounding breakthrough work in rigorous strategy. He believes in the power of good design—not as decoration, but as a critical tool to activate an idea,” Dadich said. “He listens with empathy, explains the ‘whys’ behind his decisions, challenges assumptions [including his own], and shares his viewpoints with conviction. We’re thrilled that Jason’s leadership will reinforce Godfrey Dadich’s recruitment and talent development efforts across diverse backgrounds and skill sets.”

Reporting to the co-CEOs, Brown will balance the responsibilities of business development and management—shared with San Francisco–based Partner, President, Dev Finley—with New York–based work.

Brown is a graduate of Wilfrid Laurier University and the Ontario College of Art and Design. He lives in Brooklyn, New York, and is the proud father of three children.
