Rosey contains multitudes. She was born in a trailer at the end of a dirt road in the Santa Cruz Mountains and reared in a geodesic dome. She’s been both a WWII re-enactor and large animal vet tech/goat wrangler. A cake-baker, cultivator of moss, cold lake swimmer, and lover of moonlight, Rosey studied photography at California College of the Arts. She subsequently worked in the photo department at WIRED and served as executive assistant to photographer Todd Hido. At her perfect dinner party, she would serve Swedish princess cake to Lee Miller and Tina Modotti while they take portraits of her cat Sir Kingsley Zissou with Kodak Porta 400.
