We’re looking for a Design Director to join our creative team in NYC. You are passionate about designing digital experiences that are aesthetically compelling and measurably functional. You are both a leader and a collaborator, capable of bringing together designers with a diverse set of backgrounds and skill sets to invent something new. You are curious about new formats, strategic in your approach, and bring expertise to any discussion. This role balances the responsibilities of leading a project team and rolling up your sleeves to produce work. Projects will span a range of disciplines from branding to web redesigns to editorial. Most will involve a digital component, and all will require thinking about how to build a compelling narrative. Presentations are a form of storytelling here as well—you must be comfortable articulating, documenting, and presenting the logic underlying a proposed design system. Most of all, you are committed to participating in the co-creation of a new kind of design firm.

These individuals will broadly support the company’s functions according to circumstances and needs.

We will look to you to integrate the needs of the staff and the needs of our dynamically growing firm. You will be the one responsible for initially leading and coordinating the talent acquisition process, onboarding new employees, benefit and payroll processes, and other various human resources accountabilities. This position requires you to take initiative, be proactive, and ensure that all things HR-related are carried out on time and at the highest level of quality.
We’re looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team that we are building in NYC. You have the steely nerves and foresight commonly found in air traffic control rooms. You’ll be bringing your skills to bear in a fast-moving design firm while multiple deadlines, projects, and personalities are careening towards you at lightning speed. You will be the one responsible for the successful flow of print and digital work between the creatives, editors, production gurus, and account management types. You must take initiative, be proactive, and ensure that projects are carried out on time and at the highest level of quality.
We are looking for an experienced journalist to join our editorial team in NYC. You must have significant reporting, writing, and editing experience, particularly in the fields of business, technology, and innovation. You must be able to find, assign, and edit on deadline and be prepared to help with every element of story creation, from brainstorming topics to reporting to writing display copy. You must also possess the ability to find and edit other great reporters and writers. A flexibility in format is a plus, as you will also help with the creation of podcasts, film and television, and a variety of other media. Great interviewing skills, a strong sense of the business landscape, and the ability to lead a team are all musts. You should also be excited to be part of an all-new kind of editorial operation.
