Mistrella was once voted “Most Likely to Succeed” by her high school classmates. It may be a silly superlative, but her peers were spot on: since winning her dream job at the age of 26, Mistrella has spent her entire career in PR. She was with Condé Nast for more than a decade working on corporate communications, GQ, and Vogue (she has the shoes to prove it). She provided media relations strategy and implementation for the Healthy Lunchtime Challenge & Kids’ “State Dinner” hosted by Michelle Obama at the White House in 2014, the Fast Company Innovation Festival, and Mic. Mistrella lives in beautiful Tarrytown, New York, with her husband and two children, where she cultivates her second calling: floral arranging. Peonies are her favorite.
